If Dave Winer Shits in the Woods...

If Dave Winer Shits in the Woods does anyone hear it?

You bet, everyone hears it and he gets all the attention in the world. He just released FlickrFan, a Mac application, that basically takes photos from a Flickr account and turns them into a streaming screensaver.

I haven’t checked it out (girlfriend has the Macbook for a few days) but this isn’t earth-shattering stuff here, nothing new, but yet everyone cares.

GigaOm is covering it, ReadWriteWeb is covering it and I’m sure Mr. Arrington over at TechCrunch is going to write something sweet about it.
